Our CEO, Tom Kelly, discussed the recent large scale T-Mobile Data Hack of 40 million customers data, with the Wall Street Journal. The breach is likely to put data of the customers in the hands of “digital fraudsters and identity thieves”. As Tom noted to WSJ, You can start forming an identity on somebody when you start saying, ‘I’ve got a name, I’ve got an address, I’ve got a Social Security number, I’ve got a driver’s license.’ You can start putting these things together”. This latest breach of T-Mobile was a result of hackers breaking into the company’s servers via an open access point to steal the data.
