A Message From Our CEO During The COVID-19 Pandemic

These times are truly unprecedented. While the headlines, empty store shelves and doctors’ waiting rooms may be anxiety-inducing, we at IDX want to express that the health and safety of our employees, partners and customers are our first priority, on and offline.

As the situation has developed, we have taken steps to ensure business continuity, while seamlessly continuing service at full capacity.

To protect the continuity of all programs underway, as well as new programs, we have layered in contingency plans to guarantee seamless service. We utilize redundant sites for call center and print services with additional alternate site capability in order to ensure 100 percent service availability. We also have redundant cloud systems in multiple states to safeguard against any disruption in the delivery of our IDX identity and privacy protection services. Additionally, we have taken steps toward an increased level of cyber security measures in order to ensure that our customers’ sensitive information remains private and confidential.

In addition, to ensure this continuity of service, while also protecting the health of our employees, we have already transitioned to a remote workplace, wherever possible, as well as suspending all non-essential travel, until we all can safely return to normal office life.

In this environment, I urge everyone to be extra vigilant as they engage online. We remain ready and able to help our members protect their identity and privacy. Think carefully about where you get your news, what emails you open, especially those where you may click a link, where you shop, and what information you share in social settings. We take seriously, and so should you, the reports about increasing online risks as scammers and other bad actors are taking advantage of panic around the virus. Please take extra precautions when using public WIFI and engaging with suspicious-looking content.
